Journal Prompts For Self-Reflection

We just experienced an intense full moon in Aries, and the energy of a full moon lasts for ~48 hours on both ends. Aries helps us to turn frustration into motivation, while full moons help us to release what no longer serves us and reset our energy for new beginnings. In the spirit of new beginnings and a new season, let’s do some self-reflection! Below are journal prompts for you:

Spirituality:

  1. What does God / Universal Energy mean to me? Does that question trigger me in any way?

  2. What daily rituals would connect me to my most authentic self?

  3. Is there a traumatic event that I have yet to face? How can I begin to heal?

Mental Wellbeing:

  1. What thought patterns show up most often every day - are they hurting me or healing me?

  2. What practices can I instate to improve my mental health?

  3. What is a popular belief that I disagree with?

Physical Health:

  1. How can I treat my body with more respect?

  2. What movement makes me feel the best and what foods make me feel the best?

  3. Make a list of three things you love about your body.

Finances / Career:

  1. What does my dream life look like?

  2. What are my goals for the next month what are three things I can do today to get closer to that goal? Do the same for the next 6 months and the next 12 months.

  3. Create calendar notifications for your action items.

Relationships:

  1. Where have I been holding myself back from deepening my relationships?

  2. How can I be a better friend to two important people in my life?

  3. Do I fear intimacy or embrace it?
